Manual Choke 250 Monojet '68 Only??
Curious: want to go with a "modern" Monojet on the 250. Did these debut on the '68 C series? Want to keep the manual choke. Would that make this a one year only manual choke carburetor? Thought that all '69 and later C series had automatic chokes?
thanks, Steve weim55 Colorado |

Re: Manual Choke 250 Monojet '68 Only??
I'm pretty sure the 68 and 69 were the Manual Choke Monojet. I have several cores. I have these numbers saved in eBay to alert me when one is listed - 7028006, 7028007, 7028010, 7028011, 7028012, 7028013, 7029007, 7029011, 7029012.
I believe 7028007 is the correct number for my truck(1968). But, it seems like when a decent one is listed on ebay they want too much money for it. I have several of the 7029007 which is correct for 1969. |
