Still fighting headlights

1987 k5 blazer

I'm trying to do the h4 harness upgrade on this thing. I've done it on my 78 with the lmc harness and had no problems. This thing has been a double pain in the arse. Ive tried three harnesses, from two different sources. I've swapped relays. And still my problem remains. All four headlights stay on all the time, regardless of the high beam switch. The highs and lows work fine with standard sealed beam bulbs. It simply won't with with the harness mod. Does anyone have any ideas? Frankly I gave up on this project a month or two ago for the same reason. After another month or so of driving with the sucky sealed beams I'm trying again. Anyone have any ideas that might help me make it work this time around?
