Weight of a original 72 bumper

I have heard after market ones were lighter .

The 0ne I am to figure out weight s about 29 lbs don't know if it is after market. It looks original to me .but I want to make sure before I sale it.

I was asked the same question a couple years ago when I was selling a NOS rear bumper. It weighed 27 lbs.

After market I have seen are much lighter, noticeably thinner metal. Have not actually weighed one. I'm a believer in re-plating original. Just sayin - -

Aluminum or fiberglass ones are lighter-er.
