cargo light dimensions to cut hole in back of cab
my truck does not have a cargo light but i want to put one on it and have recently bought one - does anyone or can anyone give me the correct possible way to cut the dimensions for this light - any help would be appreciated - thanks, Brent

I'm looking for the same info for the same reason.....if we don't hear anything, I'd just measure out what the size of the back of the light is, cut the hole, and fit it as you go. It'd be nice to know the specs though....

What we did was found a junk cab and cut it out to use as a template.

I will go look for it but I wouldn't be able to do much w/ it as far as tracing (my scanner died).

Its a lot smaller than the size of the cargo light I know. My body man cut mine out. Seems if I remember right its more like a slot that you cut out.

From what I remember, seeing a couple of them, , there is a hole for each screw, then a half circle on the inside of the screw hole where you can slide in one of those threaded sheetmetal clips that will hold the screws in place, then about a 2"x1" hole for the butt end of the light and wiring to fit into....

It seems to me like the dimensions might be in the assembly manual if you have one. It has been awhile since I put one of those in.
