Moog Lower Ball Joint Zerk Fitting Issue
The rest of my parts arrived today and I took them out of the boxes to make sure everything matched etc... and I noticed something weird about the lower ball joint zerk fitting. It is offset on both, more on one of them. Upon closer inspection, it looks like there is a gap in the rubber beneath the zerk . My gut is to call and get replacements, but I wanted to see what others have experienced with these Moog parts.
You can see in the first picture problem (at least maybe a problem). There is a gap in the rubber. I was going to put the zerk in and pump in some grease, but before I do that, I wanted others opinions. Thanks! -Nick |

I pumped some grease in and it did not come out of the gap in the bottom. I'm still not confident in it. I may pick up one locally or at lease go look at it at the parts house to see if they are all like this.

I've installed quite a few of those. I don't think on any of them, that the fitting was ever centered.

Re: Moog Lower Ball Joint Zerk Fitting Issue
Thanks! I went ahead and ordered a replacement to see what it looks like. I'll pick the best 2 out of 3 and see how it goes.
