Fuel Line Advice Needed

I've relocated a 1987 blazer gas tank to under the bed and I'm currently running a sbc 400 with future plans to replace with 6.0 ls engine. What type of fuel line can I run for my current set up that I will be able to leave in place and use with the ls? I planned on running 3/8" steel from the tank to the pump. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Re: Fuel Line Advice Needed

I ran 3/8" steel from the tank to the filter, to the fuel rail on my 5.3L. I'm using an EP381 pump in the tank. You will also need a return line from the regulator on the rail back to the tank.
