1968 aftermarket/dealer installed ARA AC system

Does anubody know about these dealer installed ARA under dash AC systems.

I believe they came out of Texas and there were two styles, one like mine in the pictures attatched was much longer and had 4 vents.

and a smaller one that could be mounted on the passenger side ore in the center of the dash. and had three smaller vents.


anybody know about them? I recall seeing pictures of one here on the forum and the owner had the actual brochures and as such. Searching high and low I have only seen the smaller ones. mine is the larger one.

What does ARA stand for and are they still in business? been searching or that one missing chrome vent.


Just discovered that they are still in busines... since 1947.
