Green superstition?

I had a friend who had a green 74. It was stolen 5 times (one time it was gone for 3 years!!! It was drug trafficing from Mexico to the US) went through 3 engines, 5 trannys, and 7 rear-ends. I have heard from other people too - Green trucks are a bad thing. Anyone else hear of this?

I work for the military. I drive enough green trucks without my own personal one being green.
With that....never heard of the green trucks being bad luck.

It's an old racers superstition. I can't remember why it started, but for many years (before corporate sponsers) you would never see green on a race car.

It's BS, but some people still swear by it....
