Ol' Blue Ready to Roll!

So my old girl is at the 99.5 % complete level. This is my first attempt at attaching a pic so here goes nothing.

Only thing left to do is get Bow Tie Overdrives on the phone and run through the tests and then we roll!

Hope this works!

Re: Ol' Blue Ready to Roll!

So one thing I need to do is thank this board and everyone on it. Without the sage wisdom, guidance, sanity checks, help in finding miniscule parts that no one reproduces, bigger stuff made out of "unobtainium" and the Parts for Sale forum I couldn't have done this.

I'm not leaving or dying, I'm gonna be driving! I just wanted to express my thanks and gratitude to all. There are some great friends I've met as well as some I haven't met yet.

You guys ROCK!
Very Respectfully,
Randy

Smile Re: Ol' Blue Ready to Roll!

Wow, that looks great.....very well done. I like the fact its a long bed and hasn't been overly modified, dropped, etc.....nice stock, clean appearance overall with some nice touches.

That said, it does look to me like you are going to have to give it a new name....'ol Blue' just doesn't seem to fit with a truck that nice.

All good

Re: Ol' Blue Ready to Roll!

Hey Ekliptix, you wanted to see a couple of more interior pics... So, the PUI interior parts color matched each other so well. All interior is PUI. I was afraid there would be several different shades of "off-white/parchment" but not so...

A very good friend of mine likes the woodworking thing so he finished the cheap ass Grant steering wheel to match the factory vinyl trim. He did good!

So, the console to be correct, should have been off-white also but I like the contrast of the black better. It's more like my '68 Z28 was...
