Trailing arm bushing replacement.
Restoring a 63 and the trailing arm bushings are shot. Arm is ok but had to remove the outer sleeve. Need some ideas on replacing. The service manual talks about a tool but the picture is poor at best. Thanks

Re: Trailing arm bushing replacement.
Are you asking how to remove the sleeves or where you can get replacement sleeves or how to install replacement sleeves

Re: Trailing arm bushing replacement.
The outer sleeves were damaged so I removed them. Ordered replacements. Just need some advice so I don't damage the arm.

Re: Trailing arm bushing replacement.
All I know is that you are going to want to place a piece of pipe with a slot cut out of it so it has a c shape in between the two sides of the trailing arms. That way they do not collapse when you try and press the sleeves into the hole. The slot is so you can remove the pipe after the sleeve has been pressed in.
