Disc brake frontend in Colorado
Hey all,
I've got a complete front suspension setup in a '72 GMC 1/2 ton (crossmember, tie rods, springs, discs, etc). $100 if I pull it, $50 if you do. Located in Colorado Springs, CO John |

John,
Sounds like a deal. Do you happen to have the rest of the power brake setup...booster, master etc? I have a '70 that could use this setup. |

This truck has manual disc brakes... were they available that way from the factory or did somebody rob the booster? The master is bolted directly to firewall and brakes are working.
You can have the master cylinder, lines, etc. To tell the truth you can pretty much have the whole truck for $100 if you come get it in a timely manner, or just come get whatever you may want and I'll dispose of the remains John |

Give me some details on the truck. I may take the whole thing.
What part of the Springs are you located? Any pics by chance? I could pick it up this weekend if that's soon enough. |

Truck is a 1972 GMC 1/2 ton longbed 2wd. No motor or transmission (was V8 auto). No front clip. Windshield is cracked, rear glass is gone, door glass is all there. Don't think there is a good body panel on it (rust and dents). Does have complete front and rear suspension (rear is coil with semi-elliptic leaf overloads), power steering (no pump), and braking system. Rear axle is a 3.07 ratio, open diff.
I think your trailer knows where I live I'm on the east/northeast side of Co Springs (near Austin Bluffs and Academy). This weekend would be fine if you decide you want the truck. I don't have any pics right now but can probably snap a few later today. Also, I have a few other parts around here for sale... 2 short wide beds and a 4.11 posi coil rearend. John |

Hey John,
Pics would be cool, but don't go out of your way. Sounds like a good deal, so I'll just plan on coming down. Jesse may come down with me Saturday. Otherwise, I'll need to get directions. |
