door hinges
I have heard replacing the door pin in the hinge will help with closing.
How hard is this to do? Do I have to remove the door? How about the fender? Thanks

yep gotta take the door off or at least i think, unless your whodini i couldnt do it without the door coming off but after that its really simple all it is is a pin with 2 - 4 copper bushings per door. i had to take the door loose from the hinges.to save some time putting it back on right make sure to make a mark around the part that attaches to the door for alignment.then work from there. it's a 2 man job unless your strong enough to hold the door with one hand and screw with the other. but yea it helps with door closing but then again a not ground flat striker bolt and a bushing on it helps 2.

The bushing (brass) get worn out after a while and let the doors sag. You can take the hinges out one at a time so you don't have to take the door off. Unless your a really good at lining doors up then it would be easier to take the door off. Get a floor jack to help level the door and remove the top hinge first and then install it back. Move on to the bottom and do the same. Makes it a lot easier to put them back where they went from the factory and still line the door up really good. You put the jack at the rear of the door near the corner. Might want to put a folded towel or something on the jack so you don't mess up the door. Hopefully you have a flat ground and can position the jack so you can move the door if need be. You just want to put a little tension on the door so that it will support it but not lift it up. I would replace the door pins and bushings (prolly need it anyway) and then the striker bolt that the door latches to. Bushings will help a lot depending on how bad the striker bolt is worn you may not have to replace it.

couldnt ya just use a good floor jack to support the door instead of two people? Ive never tried to fix hinges i just went out and got new hinges from the junkyard

Once you remove the door you can get at the fender side of the hinge no problem.
