turn signal problem.
My father and I built a 68 sbss and put led turn signals up front and a set of led tail lights out back.
The problem is we can not get the turn signals to flash. It lights up and stays on in front and back, but no flash. but the 4 ways flash when activated. We have tail lights and brake lights and hazards working. Just no flashing turn signal. Here is what we tried, new led flashers, switched with the 4 ways, new turn signal switch in colum, checked ground at rear, checked fuse its good. Anyone have any other idea's? Thanks

Re: turn signal problem.
Was going to suggest the LED flashers, but looks like you already put those in. Mine did the same thing when I put in LED tail lights. Did you make sure to ground the LED flasher? IIRC you have to ground the LED flasher but the original flasher does not require that.

Re: turn signal problem.
Bad ground. I tried this too, sometimes even the old bulbs go out and you have to spin the socket back and forth in the front housings to get better contact.

Re: turn signal problem.
Make sure the LED flasher you got has the correct polarity, there are two different ones. I went through the exact same thing on my AMX. Make sure the flasher has a good ground. Then try switching the wires going to the flasher.

Re: turn signal problem.
I did ground the wire coming off the led flashed. The other led flasher in 4 way does not have a ground wire and it works.
Im going to try everything suggested. All good ideas. All the led lights are sealed units with the fronts having a retro fit plug that goes into the factory socket. The rear are 11"long sealed lights with the 3 wires coming out of them about 12".

Re: turn signal problem.
Ga-stepside you are the man!!! That was it.
I made a set of jumper wires and switched them on the flashed. It has working turn signals now. Thank you, and others for your help.

Re: turn signal problem.
Cool, It took me hours to figure that out! It all worked on the bench but not in the car. You could either get the other flasher or just reverse the wires, I reversed the wires.

Re: turn signal problem.
We got hours in testing stuff. No joke.
We will buy the reverse flasher or the base that reverses the polarity.
