1980 c30 14 bolt full floater into 1970 k10

Will a 2wd 1 ton 14 bolt ...bolt into a 1970 k10? I know a 4wd 1 ton 14 bolt will and that has been discussed in the forums, however I didnt see any discussion on the 2wd.

I'm asking because I have a 3/4 ton 14 bolt and then found out i'd have to move the perches and shock mounts, and I have a chance to get a 1 ton 2wd one. If I can just bolt in the 1 ton 2wd into my k10, I'd rather do that.

I think the spring mounts are the same on the later C30 as the earlier K series trucks but not positive.

You will still have to move the shock mounts which is true on all of the later truck axles.

Axle width may be different between 2 and 4wd? I know they are on 88-98.

Yeah I don’t mind moving the shock mounts but if I can get a 1 ton 14 bolt to just bolt in with the leaf springs, I’d rather do that.
