1956 3100 is a amusing find

Amusing because the truck is from Mexico. The truck didn't have an option for heat, turn signals and I'm sure some other stuff I haven't found yet. The Temp plate is still in the back window from Nuevo Leon Mexico.

Floors , bed ,fenders and rockers are pretty solid. Some Bondo here and there. Someone made an attempt to make a floor shifter. Just figure you would find it as amusing as I have.

It used to be that baby blue color.

I am currently modding a 64 G10 for my weekend car. As that is the only time I need a personal car.

A heater, and passenger seats were options. Legs crushed in a accident standard.

Re: 1956 3100 is a amusing find

The standard equipment list was pretty short on trucks up into the mid 60's when people started buying them as a "second vehicle" that dad drove to work and they could haul things in. Before that it was rather rare that someone had a truck that they didn't use for work or maybe to haul a camper or tow with.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
