Cut an old rubber floor mat to make a seal.

GM tilt from Speedway. The only ones I saw there were for flush mount(mikebte). I suppose I could re-shape mine, just looking to see if someone had a better idea, Kel

Re: Steering column mount?

This is what I used at dash(SS), thinking might be best option on the bottom.

Re: Steering column mount?

that's actually the floor mount
i think you need something a little heavier on the dash
i'd hate for the column to come off in your lap driving down the road

That's what I thought at first, but after reading the Q & A on SW, went ahead and got it...

I have 56 Chevy 3200 truck. Could this mount be used as a "upper" mount to the dash as well as a lower mount to the floor, using part #91032978.

Product Owner - mainmotorco
John, we have used them as upper and lower mounts on a few of the trucks we have built.
I had bought this floor mount, after looking at it....again, it will work. I thought because it was a flush mount, it wouldn't work because my floor/firewall was not flat? I have it temporarily screwed down to finish the linkage. Small hole to fill now. Thanks for the input, Kel

I made an aluminum plate and bolted through the toe board.
