Has anyone ever seen this?
I was cleaning the original air cleaner housing and discovered the dealer put his stamp on it Hard to read but it says Clippinger Chevy Covina That is the dealer my parents picked the truck up from

Never seen it like that. Usually dealers would stamp bumpers or put some kind of sticker on the tailgate.

Interesting. I bought my 69 at Barton's Chevrolet in Yorba Linda. However, the alternator was stenciled with "Covina Chevrolet". My thought was it was identified because Covina Chevrolet had a theft problem. I have always assumed the truck was a dealer trade.
