hey, kansas city, MO people!!!

hi y'all!

i'm settling into my new residence in kansas city... but i need your help! i've cross-posted this thread on the kansas city truck board as well.

i have an exhaust leak somewhere near my manifold on my 350, (probably the donut). i want to pick out a good muffler shop in the area to help me find and fix the leak.

i really dont want to pay a lot for the fix, but i also want a really good, picky person to do the work, as my current exhaust job was done super, super well.

any suggestions? somewhere in the northland would be a bonus, as i live up there. but i dont mind driving to a far away place, if its worth the drive!

i would do the work myself, but i dont have a garage or a torch (cause i'm in an apartment). the carport is all i've got right now.

let me know!
thanks so much!
ciao!

I have all my "old car/truck" exhaust work done at Grain Valley Muffler which is in (you guessed it) Grain Valley, MO. It's about 25 mintues east of KC right off I-70. I'm sure there are places closer than that though. I'm sure some of the other KC guys can recommend some place closer. If it's just a donut, it shouldn't be very hard to fix, assuming your exhaust manifold studs aren't too rusty.

Olathe mufflers at 910 W. Sante Fe in Olathe has done my exhaust work for over 15 years. Bill Montgomery is the owner and does quality work at a fair price. Phone # is 913-782-432. It's not real close to you, but I think they are open Sat. Mornings.
Good luck...Dave
