Driver's door - 1971 Chevy - stuffed and hinges
I'd like to sell this locally in New England if possible, although shipping through Fastenal might be an option. I commute from SW Maine to just north of Boston, so we can arrange something. I might be coaxed into going over to the Manchester area of NH and it might also be possible to pick it up in central CT.
I believe this to be from a 1971 Chevy. In the pic with the sticker, you can just make out a date next to "By General Motors Corp.". It's been sitting in the garage since the '80s so if there's clues that indicate it's from a different year, let me know. It's straight. Minor rust. Windows and all mechanisms are included. Has hinges and door striker. Appears to be original paint except for the black wrinkle at the base and there doesn't appear to be any bondo under that. Asking $425.00

Same reply as the fender ad:
I don't have any experience shipping large, fragile things like this. I have a Fastenal nearby, but I worry about something like this getting damaged in shipping. Unfortunately, due to some family elder care issues, there's no way I can spend time building crates at the moment. If you can figure something out in that scenario, let me know...

Re: Driver's door - 1971 Chevy - stuffed and hinges
Yes - it's been sitting in the garage for a couple of decades waiting for a project that didn't happen.
I've had good experience with Fastenal, but I don't have experience with something fragile like this. Will they crate and take responsibility?

I will call them tomorrow and see what options are available. Thank you for considering this.
