Tow hooks

Factory? Dealer? Original? Rear?

What do you think?

Found them on a '70 K20.

I've never seen any myself but they look like the ones in the 68 GMC catalog. Did they mount on the bottom of the frame?

i was wondering when those would start to show up...they look like the rear hooks to me. were they optioned on the GB sticker? if the fronts were, it'd make sense for the rears to be.

I posted the pic the otherday that blazerman posted. I gpt it from the list of available dealer installed options. It more than likely wouldn't be listed on the glovebox option sticker. The concensus the other day was that they should go for around $5000.00..LOL

Are they not the same as the hooks I've seen on C-60 trucks and school bus? I've seen several pairs, but passed on them because they are not the style that demands $300.

The glovebox sticker was long gone, so I don't know if they were mentioned there. Anyone care to make an offer? I'd definately take $5000 for them. I'd even pay shipping!

yeah, I have that same pic in my owners manual...but it shows front and rear hooks. my GMC (and i'm sure a few others) has factory optioned hooks on the GB sticker. i thought it would just make sense for the rears to be there, especially the way its worded: "3V76AA - FRONT TOW HOOK EQUI".
