What is the feeling out there and and who,has fitted them, took photos and want to share please. Advice on strength, fitting, welding and even sources of best options. Thank you in advance.

Re: Retro fitment of modern seat belts to our cabs
I installed two 3-point (driver, passenger) and one lap belt (center) in my '63 and they work great. I don't have any pictures of them installed unfortunately and everything is torn back apart now. I did not weld them as the kit I bought is bolt in with proper backing plates. My belts were ordered from Julianos. They have a ton of colors and options.
Edit: I used the 90 degree bracket for the driver side, but I had to order a 60 degree bracket from Jegs for the passenger side floor mount. |

Re: Retro fitment of modern seat belts to our cabs
I used belts from https://www.seatbeltplanet.com/ when I had my '65 Nova. They were really knowledgeable, and very easy to deal with. There wasn't a specific kit available for that car, so I just gave them a call, and they took care of everything. The price was pretty reasonable too.

Re: Retro fitment of modern seat belts to our cabs
I got as far as drilling the holes and installing the nuts up in the cab corners. Then I decided the seat had to go and the replacement had the built in belts.
