ULTRA NICE 72 GMC Very LOW Price
Heres a couple of pics
You'll find more pics at this link http://www.gmcpauls.com/72_gmc.htm There is no rust or bondo anywhere owner said but we have been informed by another customer that viewed it that "all four cab supports are gone and you can see the street where the seat belts are mounted on both sides... front rad.core support under battery is gone.... " . Current Owners had it for 2 yrs. 1972 GMC. Rebuilt 350 new interior, new tires, remote stereo, new metal. Drove all summer. $4000.00 A/C needs a leak located works for a while after recharge. Reason for selling is just picked up 79 short box, want to play with over winter. If I can't get 4 or close will drive it back up to gaylord and use it as a wood getter in spring. dinnut its not my truck but a customers. I offered up the Porsche and he passed as he's to tall he felt to fit in a 944 comfortably( and I said I wasn't going to buy another truck until I finished 2 more restorations of course if he had traded I wouldn't have been buying but trading instead, looking for loop holes to my truck buying resolution LOL ) If you click on the link to the other pictures on our site it gives his contact email address and phone #, he might trade as originally he was willing to trade for Wave Runners ( But he bought 2 already ) or a utility ATV 4-wheeler to my knowledge he still has not bought a ATV, since he just bought a 79 SWB to play with this summer he may pass on more trucks but its always worth offering up.
Maybe you could trade one for a ATV he would like?? GMCPaul |

The qoute below is a copy and paste from an email Paul received from the owner. Niether Paul or I, ever saw the truck. Believe me, we would have mentioned any rust.
Looks like another dishonest seller to me. Direct quote from the sellers email. Quote:

Whew! Thanks for the post. I sent him an email to buy the truck pretty much sight unseen. Think I will pass. Sure looked like a good buy though. Rust free nice truck w/air for that kind of $$$ was just too hard to resist.
Thanks redbowtie Ernie

I'm sorry to hear they mis-represented the truck being rust-free Mark, I hate a wasted drive!!! I have updated the description you provided of the rust areas on it Mark.

not a problem on my end my buddy is the one that was going to buy this thing...we both learned a lot....
and he said that somebody whated to buy it sight unseen... the windows are next to not working.... the a/c heater controller is broke...we drove it and the defrosters did not work.... it rained all day...so it got a bit foggy inside . one of the bed rails was gone....... THE TIRE'S..are half gone and don't match front to rear... wheels are rusting... JUST FELT EVERYBODY SHOULD KNOW...NOT TRYING TO MAKE ANY BODY MAD HERE...just trying to save some a$$ Last edited by rage'nrat638; 11-16-2003 at 11:00 AM. |
