Re: Cold-Case Aluminum Radiators

I just bought one from Jegs, shipped to my house from Cold-Case. Their price is $399, but all their retailers have a $325 price. They apparently don't want to deal with retail sales themselves. Free shipping from Jegs.

I guess you could say it's a good product. I put it in about a month ago and forgot all about it until I say your post.
It is replacing a brass 3-core that had a slow leak, so I had to get the longer saddles and rubbers to fit a 4-core size.

Re: Cold-Case Aluminum Radiators

I wasn't happy with mine. It was advertised as direct fit, but the reality is that it requires modified mounts. The top and bottom mounts for a small radiator are too small and the mounts for a factory 4 core are too large. When I called them on this the answer was " The hoses will ho!d it in place just use the large mounts". Jegs had no issue with me returning it. For more information and photos check my WMB tread below page 14. It may be a good radiator but for that money it should fit as it is advertised. If I had wanted to fabricate mounts I could have installed a great generic aluminum radiator for half the money.

I see your at three posts so, Welcome aboard!

Re: Cold-Case Aluminum Radiators

I’ve no issues with mine, fit as expected, made no mods, mine is for an LS motor, in/out on pass side, trans on left side, no steam connection...test to date are 150% positive..

Re: Cold-Case Aluminum Radiators

I bought the full package
Radiator, duel fans, fan shroud, wireing kit. from the Cold-Case trailer
guy runs my card for payment then tells me doesn't have all the parts but would ship the next day. that was 4-29-18
to this day don't have a complete setup every time I call or text bill he says he will check in to it and now wont even respond
has been 2 months . what poor costumer service don't expect them to honor the warranty based on this. if it goes bad
at The Madison Classic’s Spring Jefferson Car Show and Auto Swap Meet
Bill Guzenski Western Region Sales Manager Cold-Case

so if you buy at the shows make sure you see your parts before they run your card
something tells me I will never see the unshipped parts.

I’m really surprised to hear these comments...you do know that Cris, one of the owners, is CCAS here on the forum? My experience was that he is very concerned with the opinions posted here...message him

Chris ?
I don't know who that is but I would welcome the opportunity to send him a copy of my receipt and the message string from my cell to Bill Guzenski

Re: Cold-Case Aluminum Radiators

I have one sitting in the box ready to install on my 67 Suburban. I have test fitted it with great results. I like what I see with this product over some of the others I have purchased.

I'm sorry you are having that experience. Bill is our Outside sales person. He literally travels from show to show and has very little time to follow up on backorders and problems. You need to call our offices to get some action and updates. Call toll free 1-844-REAL COLD and someone will be able to get you some answers. Again sorry for the problems.

This is the worst response I have ever heard from a company official, you basically said "go pack sand"...it would take you moments to make a call and get the problem corrected. Great customer service dummy.

There's a professional and much needed contribution.

You have his phone number? It's 7:30pm on a Friday and I'm here trying to help.

Seems simple to me. Call the Company Offices, not the guy that's on the road.

He's telling you Bill is the wrong guy to contact.

Re: Cold-Case Aluminum Radiators

I wonder where Ccas's area of expertise lies? What sort of company exec knows about a problem and says to call customer service?
Probably a manager and nothing else, I guess there is an actual Michael Scott

Re: Cold-Case Aluminum Radiators

not once in two months did bill say I should call the company
he gave me his card with his cell number
and has strung me along now for 2 months
so no it seems it is my fault I did not surpass the guy who took my money.
that his word meant nothing.. hmm

I'd do some research on him before insulting him or his skills, abilities and contributions to the old car/truck hobby. He has been instrumental in developing many classic and hobbyist automotive parts and companies. Performance Year (sold merged with Ames Performance), Pypes exhaust, Snappin Turtle, Cold Case, etc. started Max Performance which continues with a 30 year history of development of parts for classic cars. He has a long earned good reputation. One of the conditions of the sale of Performance Year retail end was that the PY Forums be continued. It is a super Pontiac Forum that shares tech advice and information just like this forum and cris is directly and hands on involved in that too.
