Re: Swing away carrier question
I think mine is made by Bestop and it has a folded up corner on the hinge part that mounts on the body that keeps the tire from going past 90 degrees open.

Re: Swing away carrier question
Does Bestop or Hickey still make these swing away tire carrier? If not, and I want to keep a stock (small chrome) rear bumper, what have others used?

Re: Swing away carrier question
Nice truck. I'm also in New Jersey, I have a question about the weight of that spare tire on your carrier. Have you noticed any sagging of the carrier, like you have to lift it to latch it?
