1970 mint grill for sale

this grill has never been on a truck, still in original gm box. this is not a reproduction grill. ASKING $340.00 that includes shipping. Would make a nice addition to a project truck, save some cash and buy other parts. This is a great value

List price from GM is 497.39 on part # 3985054 outer grill as of May 2003, inner grill part #3985056 is 175.37. usually between 35-55.00 shipping on both grills combined. My bid to Rusty70 is 310.00 shipped to 34203. Buy i'm a cheap sob. Check our GM NOS grill prices in our catalog, we will match or beat any grill prices GM or reproduction.

Competition? our GM NOS grills are 389.00 + shipping. Sorry if I offended you I don't understand why you have not sold it yet at that price, a GM NOS grill for the price of a reproduction grill is one of the best deals i've seen on the board for awhile.

He hasn't sold it, cause he hasn't posted a pic. There are two versions of "NOS" outer grills. I'm sure everyone wants to see which he has. I would be willing to bet if it's the "correct" original outer, it will get sold very quickly.

I would think in order for it to be one of those correct outers it would have to be pretty old NOS

Question

Okay, I will bite. What do you guys mean by " correct " outer? Are you talking about whether it has "CHEVROLET" stamped across the middle bar or is there something else? Always willing to learn.

"incorrect" if you can call it that, the chances of finding a "correct" 69-70 outer NOS are slim to none.

NOS means new old stock which means a new GM part that is still in the GM box and unmolested ie scratches, dents, discoloration. We sell GM NOS inner and outer grills for 69-72 and the grill trim for 67-8, also the headlight bezels for 69-72. All these are still available at your local GM dealership. A GM restoration part is a part that is close to NOS but not completely accurate enough to get the GENUINE GM label.

class of 69, what are the 2 versions of NOS?

Somebody define correct to me too.

gee_emm look no farther, we got them in stock.

The one in the lower picture is all I have seen for sale. Even if you get one from your GM dealer it will look like the one in the lower picture.

Also if you order a 70 inner from your local GM dealer you will get a 69 style

We don't order them from GM we have the correct blackened inset grills in stock from an order 15 years ago. Your correct on the inners but they are correct black and silver.
