Both trucks will be painted the same color These 2 trucks will be sold when done . 1 Black with / red interior 2 Resale red / Black interior 3 lt green / Lt green interior 4 Butternut yellow / Black with small amount yellow trim Last edited by Grumpy old man; 07-15-2018 at 07:43 AM. |

Re: Ready to paint ! What color poll
1. Black with red is awesome but lots of work
2. Butternut yellow would probably be my choice. Good friend had a 67 ss nova in high school that was a pretty color. 3. Red is cool especially GM torch red 4. Green nice and clean

Re: Ready to paint ! What color poll
I like that light green.
I am extremely against black cars and trucks because they show every spec of dust immediately! Even if kept in a garage if you walk past the truck the paint is a dust magnet. Bill

Re: Ready to paint ! What color poll
I'm pretty biased to green. I think green trucks look way cool. The yellow is pretty good color too. Can't stand black with red interiors. But from a resale stand point maybe might be good if most people like that. But I'd go green first then yellow.

Re: Ready to paint ! What color poll
I vote for Lt green. Maybe even Medium green 518. I am absolutely not biased in any way.

Grumpy, do you have any finished trucks? I know you have had some in the works the last few years. If so I would like to see some pics.

Re: Ready to paint ! What color poll
I like light green. I don't know what the resale value on a truck that color is, but I really like when I see a truck rolling by in one of those colors you don't see anymore.

Re: Ready to paint ! What color poll
1. Butternut yellow -- you don't see a lot of them, and that pic you posted looks terrific.
2. Light green -- very nice, clean, & classy. 3. Black -- always a standout. 4. Red -- um, no, the other choices are much better imho.

Re: Ready to paint ! What color poll
am partial to green,
I think black would look great if it had that faded, distressed look to it but not so much when fresh, shiny looking. |

Re: Ready to paint ! What color poll
G.O.M.,
Gotta go Green, the color of money... But I'd go with a Camel or tan leather interior. Green/Tan leather goes so well together, a bit classier... different Yellow/Tan (saddle) for example of Interior color choice, better yet with light green exterior IMO... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=519179 Mike

Yes, I always have a few going and still have a stash of 67 short beds waiting in the barn , There are already a couple on the board that were "owner built"

Re: Ready to paint ! What color poll
I've noticed blue trucks have been selling very well lately, along with the factory green you have above. In terms of resale, I would stay away from the yellow, small market, and if the black isn't perfect the buyers will see everything and ding you on price. Red really always does do well too.

Re: Ready to paint ! What color poll
Black with red guts always seems to be acceptable by everyone even if it’s not your personal favorite color. It just looks classy. Anything green looks good. I usually don’t care what color they are, as long as they are green!
