Upholstrey Prices
Does anyone know if a reputable upholstery shop in Denver what won't break the bank? I have 3 quotes for vinyl, solid color nothing too elaborate. All estimates are over 800... Thx for any help!

Re: Upholstrey Prices
That's seems reasonable if that includes carpet. I has a Glide Engineering seat for my '40 Ford temporarily covered in some inexpensive gray vinyl material so that it could be used until I get around to the interior and the guy wanted $500.00. I whined and he did it for $450.00.

Re: Upholstrey Prices
You get what you pay for imo.
I would go to a local show and shine and ask around.

Re: Upholstrey Prices
If you want find a shop that sells used Industrial Sewing Machines and learn how to do your own. My wife has went to classes at the Local Area College and I bought her two machines for under $1200.00 for both. Just don't buy a Home Machine! If you get good enough at it you could recoup your money or at the very least find out why they wanted $800.00

Re: Upholstrey Prices
$300 to re-cover the bench in my 64 in vinyl. It turned out super nice and still looks like new after 5 years, and my truck is a driver.

Re: Upholstrey Prices
If you have the stock seat you can buy a seat cover for about $200 at LMC. You can just cover it yourself. I am sure there are enough video's on you tube you can check out. http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cbe/full.aspx?Page=47 http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cbe/full.aspx?Page=46

Re: Upholstrey Prices
a company in TN. did mine for $375 shipping included. That included the seat and both door panels. I am really pleased with the craftsmanship of their work and it all fit perfect. Dont know if we are allowed to mention names so pm me if you are interested..
