Intake question
So I purchased a new edelbrock air gap intake that does not have the crossover ports that go under the carb, but my heads have this open. The gaskets that came with cover this port on the head up. Am I good to install it like this?

Re: Intake question
I also have a set of felpro intake gaskets that have the restriction tabs for these center ports as well. Just curious which would be the better application

Re: Intake question
The gasket set will often have a small tin window you can stall there to prevent blowthrough but if yours is blocked entirely, just a gasket I guess.
You will lose your choke operation and have slower cold-start warmup, all of that. If you have a manual (thermal, heat stove) choke now you might need to move to electric, not 100% sure on that.

Re: Intake question
Use the gasket that is solid across the cross over port on the head . if you use the style that has the snap in tin plate it will crush when installing the rpm air gap.
