1954 3100 USAF restomod
Thought I'd add some updates and pics of late now that its been almost 2 years since the start. Since my firewall is such a mess i decided to cover it with gadgets. Working on Stainless cover for fusebox wiring --ugh!
Since last post on thread below have made some progress plusses and minus's . Major Plusses: Tranny is rebuilt with painless OD and lockup added to 700r4 All new brakes (drum and disc) Vacuum pump added for brakes Wiper bottle, pumpand nozzles installed Full alarm added "Flux capacitor" panel wired (relays) Boat horn under DS fender Army Army Corps emblems added Backup horn and led lights added New LED vacuum gauge Some wiring cleaned up (cover is works for rest) new soffseal weatherstrip installed (doors now aligned and close easily) heater vents installed Minuses: 700r4 is leaking from front and rear seals under warranty and will go back soon. Hood will NEVER line up properly. Body shop FU'd and didn't fit parts properly before assembly and paint Tank needs pulled so rest of bed bolts can be added.
