Sons first truck.
It was a Craigslist find and well worth the money. The older man was looking for someone young that would take care of her and keep building it. It is a 1969 Chevy C-10 long bed. It has found a new home and will be well taken care of.

Re: Sons first truck.
That is pretty cool that you both have trucks. I like the color. Reminds me of the 70's when people where painting their cars plum crazy.

Re: Sons first truck.
This is great! When I was a teenager, my father had a 68 GMC longbed and I had a 70 C10 longbed. Now I had a 72 shortbed and he has an 88 shortbed. I think it helps strengthen a bond with a father and son. This is really nice to see.

Cool truck(s)! Be sure to get a pedal pad on the clutch. Come wet weather that's gonna be mighty slippery.

Re: Sons first truck.
Wow, I had to take a second look at the pics. That looks so much like my old cst, we called it Barney.
Looks great, I'm sure he'll have a lot of fun with that.

Re: Sons first truck.
Some history about this truck. It was purchased new by the owners best friends dad. Then his best friend got it and sold it to him. He has been working on it for 15 years and had to many projects going. So he put her up for sale and screened people out who was going to flip it for money. We called, showed up, and passed his test and the rest is history now. I had a real good time talking with the owner about the history of this truck. Nothing like hearing about the good old days.
