'72 Short bed
After 18 months I'm about ready to wrap it up. The things that I learned throughout this build got me ready to get fancy with my other one

Re: '72 Short bed
Awesome color you chose. All that work in only a year and a half.... You're making me feel lazy already... Whats the plan on the suspension? Personally those transports on 22''s look great on a truck that's got at least a 4/6 drop, but that's to each his own I guess. Keep the pics coming along please. Loving what you got so far...

Re: '72 Short bed
I love how you're going to "get fancy" on the other build, like this one wasn't fancy at all. Haha. Great work on this truck. Makes me realize how "unfancy" mine really is.

Lol. I learned so much, while putting this truck together that I'm ready to try a gen V swap on my other one. That's what I meant by getting fancy. |

Re: '72 Short bed
Nice build, I’m right behind you with a similar setup. Can I ask what gas tank you used? Which Circle D torque converter you went with?

Re: '72 Short bed
...and why you went with a 69-70 grille on a 72?

Re: '72 Short bed
I used Lmc’s underbed/top fill tank. I used the circle d 3200 converter. What happened with the grill was, my original truck was a 1970. I got all of the drive train together, and ordered all of my bling (before body work) My cab ended up being more than my body guy was ready for. So, I found a rot free cab. It was in great shape, but a ‘72. So everything (but the cab/title) about this ‘72 screams 1970.

Re: '72 Short bed
I got both bumpers from National Parts Depot. They're local (in Michigan) so I try to use them as much as possible.

Re: '72 Short bed
I like the looks of that exhaust. What mufflers are those? They look like they'll have some bark
