Factory Grille Gaurds...

I was wondering if sum of you would share sum pics of Factory grille gaurds/bumper gaurds etc. I was also wondering how many of you have trucks and still have the big "cow catcher type" full grille gaurds on your trucks to keep with the original stock look of the truck...

Post Away!

Thanks

Brian

This has been on the truck since new. I just took it off a few months ago when I started the total restoration. The original grill is still in perfect condition because of this thing. The guard itself has been hit pretty hard a few times...

'05 Sierra 4x4 - Had 270,000 KM and running well when it was written-off by a stop sign runner.
'94 F-150 from the "F word" company. I'll admit it...good truck. Sold what was left of it for $800 to a guy who came to pick it up at 11:00 PM with cash in hand. Hmm.
'79 Sierra Grande (Black) organ donor - perfect rebuildable 4-bolt 350 and a good TH350.

Here is the one that came on my blazer, from the dealer, I took it off and had it powder coated bright white and put it in the upstairs of my shop.

Here's the beauty that was on my truck - don't think I will be reinstalling it.

And a picture after I painted it black. Looks better, but still not going back on my truck.

I've got a friend that has one that he'd like to sell, if anyone wants one. It is the one that the chevy dealers installed

wouldn't mind having one like that for the old 67, C-20,, it will be primarly the work truck on the farm.... if anyone one near KC,, just wants to clean up garage space... I'll be willing to haul it away cheap

The one on my truck has already gone back on. Sniff at the looks if you must, but this guard has saved my truck from so much damage and lessened what damage it did receive so many times that, even if it were ugly (and I don't think it is), I'd keep it on.
