69 2 ton GMC question

Ok guys,
I just grabbed a 2 ton to use around our 7 acres. My question is what can this really carry with all these overload springs? I can’t get it home till next weekend (it’s paid for) but am looking into the capabilities of what I can haul in it. I don’t have any other pics except these.

Interesting specs. Seems like you have Standard Axles, but with Heavy Springs.

I would still only go by the GVW Tag though. Let us know what the Tag states.

Re: 69 2 ton GMC question

Here’s a few pics of the trip home and the door tag of 19500.
i borrowed a friends diesel Dodge and he took the road trip tonight after work with me to get it. It was 1:45 each way and we had to load it. Stopped for pizza and had a good time talking trucks both ways. I appreciated his help since I was a rookie with a gooseneck trailer. I did fine and the truck will be at my house this Friday. For now it will sit in front of my work house all this week. I’m sure my neighbors will love the view of it from their front porches! Lol enjoy the pics!

Re: 69 2 ton GMC question

Looks good.

Off road, you could carry a little more, but on road I wouldn't go over the 19,500 total. Overweight laws seem to be stricter than ever out there.

If the truck weighs about 8, you could easily carry 12 off road.

I once tried to get a truck legally bumped up by considering installing Heavier Springs and they would not do it. They didn't care how heavy the Springs were. They told me the only way to get it certified higher would be to add an Axle.
