Why am I not allow to post in the WIW section?

I wrote an email to the administrator last week and still have not received a response back as to why I am not allowed to post a question about a truck part.

Anyone know what the reason is? Do you have to have paid money as a "Seller" offering used parts for members to buy in order to gain access to the wiw section?

Yes you have to be a paying member and its 25.00 a year for a basic member.

I would guess the reason is that once you post and maybe mention you are considering selling or even if you don’t, you can be inundated by buyers. Pm sales are prohibited but hard to police. This circumvents the subscription price.

I paid the $25 and don't know why it's not more. The info alone is worth way more.
I wish I would have saved it and posted the interview with Josh the founder of this site. I really don't know how old it was but opened my eyes. He started this at age 14 and in no way makes a bundle doing this much needed website.

If someone has that interview they need to post it. I fully appreciate what has been done and the people that monitor this website for basically no thanks or big pay. Let alone the grumpy's (member) of the world filling in the blanks and so, so many others.

I encourage everyone to imagine life without this site and the unbelievable resources it delivers to enthusiast. To often we take all things for granite with the web world. Someone, at some time, started this monster with little gratitude financially and is still updating and making it better. I will step down from my soap box.

I believe the reason the fees were started because rip-off artists would register on the site then offer up parts for sale and members would send money and never get the parts. That is not the on this site now with I'd say 99.5% of the deals that are made on here are legit on both ends.
