Airbags/shocks
I put a ‘80 front end on my ‘63. I just cupped the lower control arms 2”. I will also be putting bags in the rear on the trailing arms where the coils sat. What shocks do i need? Factory length or shortened ones? I was planning on using stock with relocates.

Re: Airbags/shocks
K that makes sense. I was hoping i could of just got away with buying factory length shocks ahead of time but i guess i will wait till i get it finished first than select shocks. Did you do shock relocates??

Re: Airbags/shocks
Measure the angle the top is set off from the top, you want to get back to this angle, or within a couple of degrees, your good. So now, do your drop and remeasure. When you’re done, take a look at the new angle. I don’t know the specific degree, but if your mounting point is moved and it appears to be too far away from your stock degree measurement before drop, mark the frame where the mount needs to relocate to and straighten it back to as close to stock as toy are able. Others chime in here, if you have a different method, but that’s what I did and it worked out ok so far

Re: Airbags/shocks
I built a set of relocates like POL carries the other day at work for the front. For the rear i am gonna use the factory lowers but switch left to right/right to left and use the top mounts from the front for the rear tops. Do you want rear shocks straight up and down or some degrees to them??
