69gmc to 72chevy Frame swap
Tomorrow I’m picking up a cab and frame of a 1972 c10 and I’m going to restore it add all the goodies and such And take all the parts off of my 1969 gmc 1500 and put it on it. So I’m te end it will be a gmc with a Chevy cab and frame. Anything differences on the frames besides the disc brakes? What should I know before diving into this rebuild. My gmc is 90% done. But the cab needs to be cut apart and patched almost everywhere. So I’m going to restore this other cab and still drive my gmc until I start to swap the gmc parts over.

Re: 69gmc to 72chevy Frame swap
The only thing I can think of is the later cab will use a cab gas pedal set-up and your GMC has the linkage. No problem but the only difference other than interior rear view mirror location.
