Tailgate Rattle. Has anyone used these?
I'm curious if anyone here has used these?
http://tdtrunniondesign.com/ If so, how do they hold up? Do they take away the constant rattle when on rough roads?

Re: Tailgate Rattle. Has anyone used these?
I tried these once...on a fleet long bed...they gave the tailgate a little more support at the hinge location, but I found most of the noise and rattles originated from the latches and looseness of the gate on the bump stops...
I used deeper bump stops and put a stick on square of hard rubber material (actually a cut up Rock Auto magnetic card!) onto the tailgate to minimize the noise... If you have a Stepper...good luck trying to quiet those down...encasing the chains in clear plastic tube works best....
