The hoods by themselves will not interchange but the whole front clip will. It's done all the time. Here are a couple of forum pics you can easily see the main differences. The 67-68 hood is a couple of inches longer than the 69-72 hood. The 69-72 hood front edge closes behind the grille, the 67-68 hood closes over the grille.

Fenders are different on Chevys after '68 is #1 reason it's no.

But with #1 comes #s 2 & 3.

#2 is the fenders are part of the front grille so you need a 67/68 Chevy grille.

#3, since you need a 67/68 grille you need a 67/67 core support.
