Rochester Divorced Choke
Does anyone have a source for a divorced choke for a 2 barrel rochester? They appear to be discontinued. I bought one several years ago but the coil is backward and doesn't work with my truck.
Appears online to be discontinued. Thanks in advance. -j

Sometimes you can change the coil position. Depending on how they’re put togethor.

Re: Rochester Divorced Choke
I looked at that. The one I bought appears to have a blind rivet. When installed, the bimetal coil was backward, thus causing it to close the choke the warmer the engine.
Not sure other than drilling out how to remove the coil but may try it.

I have a complete set from my 69. It has the cover, spring setup and rod.
I took it off with 33k miles. |
