Knocked the cobwebs off......

the bedcover. It is time to refit, rethink, and paint this SOB. It needs to be mounted and finished up. Can't believe how much dust and spider webs can be accumulated over three years!

It will be worth it. Will post more pics when painting is complete. Later, FCG

Engine swap....

is in the process. After the 454 flatened TWO cams, I said screw this! I bought an LT1/4L60E. That is why the hood is off. I am fixing to build the mounts and put it in for a mockup, then pull it, paint it and mount it for good. I have been teased by this truck for the last year and still haven't got to drive it for more than 20 miles. The LT1 WILL solve that problem.

Whoops...

I think some of you misunderstood, or I mis explained. I knocked the cobwebs off the BEDCOVER. It needs to be painted. I am just to that part of the project now. The cover has been made for three years only to get stored in the corner. Won't be long. Later, FCG

Hi Mark,
Are you going to run A/C. if so, are you going to leave the accessories as is and cut the frame, or will you get the aftermarket accessory brackets? I'll probably hit you up for a gas tank one of these days.

I first saw your truck on the resource page and thought "wow now that is a nice truck." I hope I can get mine to look as nice. Great job.

Sorry all....

I moved my attention to the engine. I also ordered the spray in bedliner setup. I want to do this first, and then I will get right back to the bedcover. I will post pic and all the details. Thanks for the patience. Later, FCG
