What is this?
Hi all,
i am having a bit of a brainfart. We're in the assembly phase of the repainted 72 jimmy and i just can't remember for the life of me what was mounted in the area highlighted in the picture. I went through my parts and i have either misplaced it or otherwise screwed up but i can't figure out what goes in this area. Anyone recognize what is being mounted in this hole and advice me what it is (and if i have to purchase the part, where i may find it)? Thanks!!! |

Re: What is this?
Correct. It looks like a pipe with a mounting flange and 3 nipples for hoses on the bottom.

Re: What is this?
The foam rubber gasket is usually in bad repair, but I think I saw someone on the blazer parts board reproducing them

I got those gaskets. Thanks for reminding!
Also, as an update. i found my fuel vent line. A picture is worth a thousand words... It was with the body shop, the vent line had been nicely painted and looked great! Crisis averted. Thanks everyone!!! I totally had a brainfart.... |
