Dodge 203 vs GM 203

What's different between a Dodge 203 T-case and a Chevy 203? I have a '79 k2500 & the t-case needs to come apart. I want to swap it out so the truck isn't down. Found a cheap Dodge case, just wondering?

Re: Dodge 203 vs GM 203

first off i bet the input gear is not 27 or 32 spline for the 2 gm counts they used . this would require a tear down of the t-case to swap over .

Thanks for the input, you're spot on, I was too lazy to google it. Think I'll keep looking.
