Eaton ho52
This is an eaton rear axle. Not a locker. No stamping on ring gear. But.counted the teeth.has 41 teeth on ring gear so I believe it is a 410 year ratio. Drum to drum complete. Was in truck running and driving fine. Brakes work good. No noise. Dont know how to ship as it is heavy. Dont know how to tell the difference between the ho52 and ho72. Came out of 1972 GMC leaf spring Sierra grande 8 1/2 ft bed 3500 truck. .Only changed it out for a Dana 60 with 3.54 gears.

Re: Eaton ho52 or ho72?

Re: Eaton ho52 or ho72?
I am pretty sure it's an ho52. With 410 gears. It came from a gmc version of a Longhorn. Has a 402 turbo 400 tranny. High optioned truck. But speed limit around here is 65 in town and 75 after city limits. Going 60 isn't to bad around town. But going 60 when speed limit is 75 kinda scary. But the truck is badged as a 3500. Here's a pictures of truck we pulled it from.
