1972 Interior color
Does anyone with an original dark blue color truck have pictures of the interior? I know that there are a lot of the light blue color but I can't find any of the original dark blue truck interior.

Re: 1972 Interior color
The dark blue interior was only in '69.

Re: 1972 Interior color
Thank you everyone for the replies. Jocko, is the dash pad and door cards light blue? I haven't seen any aftermarket dark blue dash pads or door cards but wasn't sure if anyone made them or if the light blue was original for a truck with dark blue paint.

Here is a dark blue dash so I imagine others are available. You may be fighting the same dilemma as I. I have an original 72 with med blue exterior and all light/med blue interior. I'm having a hard time with all the light/med blue. I have thought about going to the dark blue exterior and a darker blue interior. |

Re: 1972 Interior color
I think the door panels and dash that you could get in 72 were all the same shade of blue, i.e. no light/med/dark - just "blue" - but I'm not gonna swear on it. I think the dark blue dash pad in the link that Red posted would be more for the DARK blue that Tim referenced in 69 (which I believe was available 67-70, and in earlier body styles).

If you have a '72, there was only one shade of blue interior offered. And shade varied between the different materials. The molded door panels are different from the seat. The only color I consider dark blue is the '69-only blue that I would call Navy Blue. How about some more information on your truck or exactly which parts of the interior you are wanting to see. I think I have a picture of my '72 when it had the original blue interior. The steering wheel is a replacement and a tad darker than original.
