Was wondering if you guys could post pics of your 4/6 drop? have the ECE 4/6 drop but trucks not together yet and I'm wondering if its going to sit low enough, and what I need to do about pinion angle.

Re: post your 4/6 drop

This truck had a 4/6 drop no issues with pinion angle. I had 4” drop springs and 2” drop blocks in the rear. I cut two coils with a cut off wheel in the front. Drove straight as an arrow. Bumps in the road we’re not awesome. It sat low enough for me.

Re: post your 4/6 drop

With a drop that much in the rear I would advise checking all the drive line angles. I did and found that my transmission mount needed shimming. That ended up making the truck smoother feeling. Here is a link to my notes on what I did. Post 348

i too am about to install the ECE 4/6 kit and wondered if it came with directions? or just go for it. I've not done suspension work before.

Re: post your 4/6 drop

I installed mine, pretty straight forward. I guess the only real way to know about the pinion angle is to get and angle finder and check it
