Factory Radio Knobs

Can someone tell me why these knobs are shorter? Are they year specific? Came on a AM 67-72 Radio I bought but are just short. Thanks

Re: Factory Radio Knobs

By any chance does the longer center knob have a "set screw" for mounting? Does the longer knob have a internally threaded end? Never seen any radio knobs being longer than the ones normally seen.

Re: Factory Radio Knobs

Might try posting in the 67-72 message section, it gets more traffic than the audio section for sure. Have no idea as to why the difference in length if is a slip on and does not have a set screw or internal threads.

Re: Factory Radio Knobs

that middle one is not a radio knob. maybe manual throttle? is it threaded inside or have that lil metal plate inside like the other two?

It has the metal plate inside. Not threaded.
