What do you guys do when you get a bad sending unit for your aux tank..The problem with mine is it reads way past full no matter how much gas is in it.. I can't find any problems with the ground or any other wiresfor that matter..
so was going to buy a new one, but i was told I would have to by a universal unit.. anyone here of that???

why don't you try to get intouch with the fuel cell guy....

I know a yard that has a truck with an intact aux fuel tank.

The sending unit from a blazer is similar and could be modified to work. The pickup tube would have to be shortened because the auxiliary tank isn't as deep as a blazer tank and the sending unit mounts to the tank a little differently but it's workable. I'm in the process of moving or I'd send a picture for a side by side comparison. Can you wait a few weeks?!!
