Is this an original 1969 GM shop manual?
Today I was browsing at our local antique store and stumbled upon this gem, at least that is what I think it is. Is this an original 1969 shop manual I am just curious, bought it for $20CAD which is about $15USD

It does appear to be original, this may sound strange, but all the old original shop manuals I have, have a distinct, kinda stinky smell to them,I also have some repos that are a little that don't have that smell

Yep, that sure looks like an original - the first pic below is what I "thought" would have been an original cover - I wonder if there's any difference... Doubt it, and your contents page matches the title of the book below. Interesting that it covers light and medium duty - but that is how they did the service manual in 69. Not so in 71-72. The second one below is a good companion to your chassis service manual - covers some more detailed overhaul procedures for a subset of things. But the one you have is the main one.

It looks to be an original possibly Canadian version. I know Canadian gmc ones are different.

I also have the book in your first pic, and this one - the original - and a first glance it seems to be almost twice the thickness of the one in your first pic, I would guess it has maybe more pics with more detailed explanations, haven't really sat down yet to look at a differences but I will this weekend....thanks guys.

Re: Is this an original 1969 GM shop manual?
I'm guessing that first book is the Canadian edition, as it perfectly matches my Canadian-only volumes for the Canadian Pontiacs. The US books look like the ones that jocko posted.
The model numbers will all be wrong on the GMC side (810, 820, etc...) but the Chevy stuff should actually be close to the same. If you were looking for a US one, I'd be happy to buy that one as it matches my set! Here's the Acadian manual for example:
