I was going to put one on my blazer at one time,it will work it's the same width as 73 to 91 provided it has the straight axle front end you just need to fabricate brackets for your bushings to mount.

Randy, They were not an option on the 4x4s. I have installed two on trucks though. You need to get the "U" bolt brackets from a donor truck along with all of the other mounting hardware. Then I took 2 pieces of 1" steel plate and cut the mounting brackets for the front crossmember. I drilled and threaded the holes for the front bushing housings and then mounted the bushings to the plates. I then swing the sway bar up to where the plates meet the front crossmember and welded them in place. I have had a front sway bar mounted to my BB K-5 Blazer for about 9 years, and wow what a difference in the way it handles. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Tee,

None taken. I've been wrong before <g>

Next question -- do you have the brackets for a 71 4wd steering stabilizer?

At least that one had a tie rod shaft on it. The one I bought from him, the PO had cut the smashed clip off with a gas wrench, and took the idler arm and tie rod shaft off too. What fun that was to load on a trailer. I discovered when I got it home that a piece of 1/2 inch conduit, with a "slight" kink in it slipped right over the tie rods, and clamped with vise grips gave me the ability to steer both tires together.
You are working too hard on all that stuff, Randy, wish I wasn't so far away to be a weekend helper.
