79 rearend in a 64?

So I've got a line on a 79 1/2 ton that I plan to scavenge the front suspension, etc., from but I'm tossing around the idea of using the rear end, especially if it has a better ratio. I understand it will be 3/4" wider on each side. I can manage to mount the pads for the trailing arms and maintain the proper pinion angle but what do I do to mount a panhard rod?

You would probably have better luck if this was posted in something other than the Blazer/Jimmy board.

Your best bet is to buy the kit with new trailing arm mounts and the new panhard rod mount. Speedway Motors has it for $140 inclunding track bar.
